Congratulations to the ASCS Community!

I’m absolutely delighted to share that Al Salam Community School has been recognised by the KHDA as being a ‘Good’ school with many ‘Very Good’ features.

To receive the highest known KHDA rating for a new school, whilst in the third year of operations and battling COVID is a remarkable achievement by the community. Quite humbling to be honest. Well done ASCS!

It was no surprise that the key strengths mentioned in our report were actually about the members of the community themselves, particularly our leaders, our governors, our teachers and of course the beautiful nature of our students. Our excellent GCSE and A Level results did us no harm either!
Also as an ‘affordable’ school option, hopefully we’ve shown you can match the very best education and still serve your community value too.
Al Salam Community is a beautiful and diverse community of students, staff and parents. This is why I really enjoy every school day and have significant love for our community. Proud principal indeed!

May I thank the governors for having trust in us as a team . Thanks to the amazing leaders, teachers and staff; past and present who have been so resilient in the face of every challenge since the school opened, less than 3 years ago. Thanks also to the students and parents for their unwavering trust in our guidance . You all deserve this and more.

The school is now on route to welcome 1800+ students from over 60 nationalities in September 2022. So let’s see what can be further achieved at this ‘rapidly improving school’.

We have lot’s still to do but the growth journey continues to gather speed.

Al Salam Community School, in the spirit of creating a legacy of collaboration and dedication to community engagement, hosted its first annual MUN conference for our youth to experience, to learn, to flourish, to make an impact, to change a life.

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation that emulates the purpose of the United Nations in finding solutions for the pressing issues that surround our world, done through an academic simulation of the United Nations’ procedures.
