Our Vision

At Al Salam Community School, our vision is to nurture an inclusive learning community, leading excellence with Islamic values. This vision defines who we are and what we aspire to become: a school where every learner is valued, every teacher is inspired, and every success is shared. It reflects our belief that education must develop both competence and character, preparing young people who achieve academically and live with integrity, compassion, and faith.
As a British curriculum school, we take pride in offering a rigorous and balanced education that promotes high standards of academic achievement while supporting creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. Alongside this, we are a bilingual school, applying the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies to ensure that every student builds a strong connection to their culture and identity. This combination enables our students to flourish both locally and globally, confident in who they are and equipped for the world they will lead.

“A British curriculum school rooted in Islamic values and enriched by Arabic and UAE Heritage.”
Located in Dubai, one of the most diverse and innovative cities in the world, our school community mirrors the richness of its surroundings. Our students and teachers represent many cultures, languages, and nationalities, and we actively celebrate this diversity as a source of strength and learning. Tolerance, empathy, and respect for others are central to our daily life, ensuring that every member of our community feels a sense of belonging and dignity. We are deeply committed to supporting a diverse staff and student body, recognising that inclusion goes beyond acceptance.
“Diverse in culture, united in purpose.”

At Al Salam, we also recognise that a truly thriving community must be a safe one. The wellbeing and safety of our students, staff, and visitors are at the heart of all we do, guided by strong safeguarding and health protocols that ensure every learner can grow, explore, and excel with confidence and peace of mind.
Our vision is realised through four interconnected pillars that shape all we do:
An Inclusive Community
A Learning Community
Academic Success
Islamic Values.
Together, they guide our daily actions, from personalised learning pathways and wellbeing programmes to leadership opportunities and faith-based service. For our students, this means growing into confident, reflective, and compassionate individuals who are proud of their heritage, mindful of others, and ready to make a positive difference in the world.
