Our curriculum follows the framework for the National Curriculum for England (NCfE). The NCfE provides an entitlement curriculum up to the end of Key Stage 3, which means that students in each age cohort will study the same subjects, regardless of their background, nationality or level of academic attainment. In Key Stages 4 and 5, the curriculum adds options to a smaller entitlement core.

At ASCS, we place great emphasis on high achievement and Islamic values as we want our students to be contributing and conscious citizens. This is evidenced in our inspection reports and what parents tell us they value most at Al Salam. Our approach balances between the rigour of the British curriculum, with a focus on extracurriculars, and the UAE heritage and tradition that we all love.
